Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen: It's official! We're headed back to our home state of Washington.
Both of us have been talking for some time about when to make the move and everything has just aligned at this point in time to make it happen. Mac has accepted a position, Director of International Outreach, at Green River College. The position includes marketing international programs, recruiting international students in Asia as well as developing internship opportunities for their language programs and building technology resources. Josh was able to work with his current company to be able to telecommute from Washington. Great news!
Mac will be headed north at the end of this month (March) to begin working, while Josh will stay down in Monterey for awhile and finish up some work projects. We hope to both be up in the area by sometime in May and will begin looking to purchase our first home!
There will be lots of other news in the coming months so we'll do our best to post info here for you to check in on us.
Thanks to all of you, our family and friends, for encouraging and supporting us from afar and for being so excited about our return (for those close family who already knew we are coming home!).
