This year for Halloween we joined the BRCAC (Black Rock City Animal Control-from Burning Man) crew in SF.
Our outfit: A swarm of bees!
Over 60 in fact. Quite an effective costume en masse. Oh, but it doesn't stop there. Everyone took their costume one step further and designed it around a name they gave themselves. We had "Ray Bees," "Bee-tnik," "Boo-Bees," "Miss Bee-have," "Bee-reaved," "Queen La Bee-fah..." the fun just didn't end.
BRCAC are quite organized (thank heaven for Google groups and mass email) so we had 3 parties to attend that evening plus swarming

the streets of the Mission, which attracted a good amount of attention. With 60 bees, how could it not?
It was a blast and one of our best Halloweens yet.
