Yael Naïm is a French-Israeli singer/songwriter, was raised in Israel, who sings in Hebrew, French and English. She has a unique sound, but I would classify her in a genre with singers such as Rachel Yamagata, Feist and Sara Bareilles.
Her song New Soul is featured on the new MacBook Air commercial, which is a track off her self titled album (which also includes a rendition of Britney Spears' Toxic).
